STMicroelectronics Releases Updated Version of Free ST7
Software Library
ST7 Software Library version 2.1 simplifies application
development for ST7 microcontrollers with 'C' source code device
drivers for all standard ST7 peripherals
GENEVA, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- STMicroelectronics
(NYSE:STM) has upgraded to version 2.1 of the ST7 Software Library,
the optimized development tool that provides comprehensive support
for designers creating applications based on the popular ST7 family
of enhanced 8-bit microcontrollers.
The upgrade adds support for recently introduced MCUs - including
the ST72561 automotive microcontroller, the ST72264, and the small-
scale, cost-sensitive ST7Lite and Superlite series - as well as for
a range of peripheral modules.
Microprocessor Design The Library is available as a free download to support ST7
developers. It enables standardized source code to be created
rapidly for a wide range of target applications, without the need
for users to make an in-depth study of each peripheral's
specification. Library code is fully documented and tested,
ensuring simplicity and code reliability. Working and thoroughly
tested example applications are provided for each peripheral and
device, and these templates can easily be adapted by users to meet
their specific requirements.
11.2 You may use the Software and related Services only subject to the agreement or license that accompanies such Software or Services. You may use Services only during their specified term, for the enumerated number of times, for the specified number of individuals, or as otherwise limited in the applicable agreement or license. Services involving an update, version release, product release, maintenance release, (a) on systems for which such Software or Service were specifically licensed; and (b) subject to the license and warranty term governing the original product or Service.
Intel Motherboard For software engineers with a basic grounding in 'C' and a
working knowledge of microcontrollers, the ST7 Library provides
significant cost savings through faster development, proven program
code, easier integration and reduced testing time. It supports
Metrowerks and Cosmic compilers, and is fully compliant with the
MISRA (Motor Industry Software Reliability Association) automotive
software standard. A RIDE graphical interface (GUI) is available,
supporting the Cosmic compiler.
Currently you will need to download the most recent version of Wintasks from our website, uninstall the current installation and proceed with reinstallation using the newly downloaded setup file. Form time to time may require to update your process library definitions, this can be done by clicking on the "Check for updates" button, if any updates for process library are available click on the "Update Process Library" button.
Gigabyte Mainboard The ST7 core is based on an industry-standard 8-bit
architecture, extended by ST to improve support for high-level
language programming and to provide additional interrupt handling
features. The microcontroller family is ideal for smart appliances,
motor control, automotive body systems, home automation, USB
peripherals, cost-sensitive markets and thousands of other emerging
applications.
If the Document does not specify a version number of this License, you may choose any version ever published (not as a draft) by the Free Software Foundation.
History Of Microprocessor Support for all of the ST7 standard peripherals is provided by
the library, including A/D Converter, Interrupt Controller, EEPROM,
the serial communication interfaces, eight different timers,
general I/Os and CAN (Controller Area Network). The MCU families
ST7232x, ST7252x, ST726x, ST72561 and ST7Lite and their subsets are
all represented, with register map files for all devices and device
configuration files for the Metrowerks and Cosmic compilers. A
detailed user manual provides a description of every library
function, plus example code and instructions on the most effective
way to use the library.
The Destinator GPS software company (based in Europe) has just released version 7 and so far we have found has no American distrubutor currently providing this updated product.

As you know, Urchin was acquired by Google in 2005. Google now offers Google Analytics as a free service to users with a Google Account. Since Google's acquisition of Urchin, Google has not made updates to the software version of the Urchin site analytics tool, and Google does not have plans to support the software version in the future.
