The A+ Core Hardware exam tests your knowledge of the central role played by the system's microprocessor, which has become essential knowledge for the professional PC repairperson. There was a time when replacing the CPU was very complicated. However, today's motherboards feature sockets and slots into which several types and versions of microprocessors can be interchanged. You still have to watch out for compatibility issues, but it's not uncommon for customers to want you to upgrade their PC instead of replace it.
History Of Microprocessor April 24, 2005 (AXcess News) Houston TX - Management and
engineering have had a history of being at odds over safety issues
on NASA's space flights, even before the Columbia disaster.
Sun, Dec 9, 2007 Shuttle Launch Off Until January Dec 9, AP Aerospace Writer CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) - NASA on Sunday delayed the launch of space shuttle Atlantis until January after a gauge in the fuel tank failed for the second time in four days. With only a few days remaining in the launch window for the shuttle's mission to the international space station, senior managers decided to stand down until next month in hopes of better understanding the perplexing and persistent fuel gauge problem.
Ecs Motherboard The disagreements between engineers and managers peaked during
the days leading up to the piece of foam insulation that came off
the shuttle flight, knocking a hole in the shuttle's wing that led
to the firey crash.Since the Columbia shuttle disaster NASA safety
issues have been examined and depending on who you ask, NASA is
doing a better job of protecting its astronauts and space
vehicles.

NASA Space shuttle Columbia destroyed On this day in 2003, while returning to Earth from an orbital mission, the U.S. space shuttle Columbia broke up catastrophically at an altitude of about 60 km (40 miles) over Texas, killing all seven crew members.
Mainboard Driver Some NASA scientists feel that the space agency is under to much
pressure to return to flight and fear that management will once
again overlook engineering concerns when the space shuttle
Discovery returns to flight.Management believes that NASA is making
progress once more and that the shuttle's safety is not being
overlooked.
Computer Motherboard James Wetherbee, who quit NASA in January, was a shuttle
commander who was fed up with management. Wetherbee said that
nothing has changed at NASA, that decisions were still being
managed the same way they were before the Columbia shuttle
disaster, which prompted him to resign, Wetherbee says.
Asus Mainboard Its been two years since the last NASA space shuttle flight and
as the launch date nears for Discovery, the debate over safety
continues.
Microprocessor Programming Even Discovery's crew has mixed feelings over NASA's safety
plans and each a different opinion about NASA's preparedness.
Socket Motherboard But changing the culture of how NASA operates is no overnight
event and NASA realizes that, especially since investigations
revealed gaps in its safety culture.Investigators had found that
NASA safety culture had not changed from the time of the Challenger
launch explosion 17 years ago to the time of the Columbia shuttle
disaster just two years ago.
Ecs Mainboard According to the report by the Columbia Accident Investigation
Board in August 2003 engineers warnings were for the most part
overlooked by NASA management and that fostered an atmosphere of
repression, which continues today. In meeting the needs of the
international space station, flight schedules have also played a
major role in NASA management decisions and that has caused intense
pressure on NASA scientists to complete their work on schedule.
Motherboard Manual Overall, the space race is heating up with viable commercial
possibilities looming at the fingertips of who ever gets there
first, from mining asteroids to colonizing Mars. That kind thinking
is what's worried scientists most and as NASA tries to improve its
safety culture the schools of risk adverse and chance will continue
to bump heads.
