ATI Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:ATYT) (TSX:ATY) announced new
program support for system integrators to create exciting home
entertainment solutions for new Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Media
Center Edition systems. ATI is expanding its support to the
system integrator channel. Available in August 2004, the ATI
evaluation kit for system builders will be offered through ATI's
global Channel Partner Program and will feature a wide array of
award-winning graphics and video technology solutions.
ATI is the only provider of graphics, software and TV solutions
for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition systems with
dedicated system integrator support and resources.
- Microsoft Windows XP (Home Edition, Professional, Media Center Edition, or Tablet PC Edition) with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Windows Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, or Ultimate)
- Windows Internet Explorer 6 or 7 for Windows XP SP2 or higher
- PC with 300 MHz or faster CPU speed
- 256 MB of RAM and 600 MB of available hard disk space
- 56 kbps or faster Internet connection (broadband recommended)
- CD or DVD burner, external hard drive, enabled media or storage device required for backup and restore functionality (but not required for installing Windows Live OneCare)
